The hotel drivers are hopeless. Summer hires . We ended up directing them. Drinks and snacks are ridulously expensive in the hotel even for Russia. 10 gbp for a coffee and another 10 gbp for the refill. The hotel builders forgot the soundproofing so yoyu hear the intimate conversations in the next room. At the rates we paid 500gbp per night we expect far better

Perfect location, fantastic breakfast, most clean, nicely decorated, smiling staff...

We planned to celebrate the new year at the hotel but it was extremely expensive (800$pp)...We decided only to drink at the bar but there was another package price to pay (200$ for champaign and canapes) but after we insisted they let us pay whatever we drank...Excellent Xmas decorations but no soul (no music at the bar or elsewhere other than main party area....) Food and beverages were extremely expensive, health club was too small ...

I had a fantastic stay in this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable and the hotel facilities were top-notch. The location in the heart of the city was perfect, with the main attractions within a short walking distance. The breakfast spread was delicious and the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and comfortable.

The staff was unfailingly pleasant, friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and well furnished, if smaller than other hotels of a similar standard in major cities.

There was no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms.

Hotel is excellent, situation is great, breakfast is gorgeous and personal are nice.

The location was superb. A stone's throw from the Hermitage museum and the main shopping street is very close by. The main reception area is very impressive. Rooms are very comfortable. Service very good without being stuffy.

The price of drinks and food is really beyond a joke. Ok this is a 5 star hotel, but £10 for a cup of coffee and £20 for a dessert is way over the top. We found some excellent restaurants very close to the hotel which were as good if not better than the hotel and were a quarter of the price.
